1. Learn how to design an unbiased survey avoiding voluntary response bias, question bias, and the placebo effect.
2. Differentiate between sample and population, quantitative and qualitative variables, and discrete and continuous variables.
3. Use scientific sampling techniques to identify an unbiased sample.
4. Interpret the measures of the center and spread.
5. Construct and interpret frequency tables.
